Kitten stuck in car engine rescued by North Charleston firefighters


Firefighters with the North Charleston Fire Department (NCFD) rescued a kitten trapped inside a car engine Friday.

According to the NCFD, the E213-C shift crew disassembled part of the fender wall to safely remove the kitten from the vehicle.

“A ‘cat-astrophe’ was avoided today,” the NCFD said in a statement. “What a ‘purr-fect’ ending.”
