Walton Township, Mich. (WILX) – Michigan State Police are investigating a 2-car head-on crash in Walton Township.

Police say the crash occurred on Butterfield Rd between Marshall Rd and I-69.

Five people were injured at the scene and have been transported to the nearest hospital.

Troopers are advising people to find an alternate route as they have closed down the area.
