ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Hundreds of automobile enthusiasts go to view and show off vehicles at the Miracle Mile Rockford car show.
On Saturday, event attendees gathered at Don Carter Lanes, 4007 E State Street, to enjoy their afternoon at one of the biggest car shows in the area. Awards were given to the top 60 vehicles and 12 “best of” category.
Paula Olseon, Miracle Mile Rockford executive director, notes the day to be a success with an overflowing parking lot full of unique vehicles.

“Every Memorial Day we put up over 200 flags to honor our military,” Olseon says. “The Miracle Mile and Veterans put them up and take them down. We’re all getting old so if anyone would like to come help us for fourth of July and Veterans Day, we’d love the help.”
Since 2005, Miracle Mile Rockford has helped businesses, property owners, neighborhood groups and residents in the heart of Rockford. Funds collected by the car show will support Miracle Mile Rockford and the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 984.
