FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A car caught fire after a crash on Illinois Road between Hadley and Scott Road Sunday afternoon.

An officer at the scene confirmed with WANE 15 crew at the scene that two vehicles crashed at the intersection of Illinois Road and River Oak Run. Shortly after the crash one of the cars caught fire.

Dispatch confirmed with WANE 15 that there were no injuries in the crash.

It is unclear at this time what the exact cause of the crash was. The fire was very quickly contained by the Fort Wayne Fire Department.

Traffic in the area was reduced to one lane westbound as crews worked to clean up the crash.
