
MORRIS COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) – According to the Morris County Sheriff’s Office, three people have died in a head-on collision in Morris County Saturday afternoon.
The Morris County Sheriff’s Office said the call came in just before 4 p.m. on Kelso Road near P Avenue. Officials said one vehicle had two occupants, who were transported to the Morris County Hospital with serious injuries.
The second vehicle had five occupants, three who were pronounced dead on the scene. Two others were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Kelso Road was shut down for a time due to the investigation but is now back open to the public.
The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the crash and is conducting the investigation as to what led up to the crash.
