Person fatally shot near Trap Music Museum, Atlanta police say


ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A person died after being shot multiple times near Atlanta’s Trap Music Museum on Sunday night, according to police.

The Atlanta Police Department said officers responded around 7:55 p.m. to a report of a person shot near 630 Travis St. NW, listed as the address of the Trap Music Museum in northwest Atlanta’s English Avenue neighborhood.

When they arrived, officers reportedly found “a male victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.” The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

Homicide investigators are working to learn what led up to the deadly shooting.

The investigation is in its early stages and details are limited at this time.
