
Rochester, N.Y. — Rochester, N.Y. – Teen mental health advocate Taanvi Arekapudi joined Good Day Rochester on Monday for Mental Health Awareness Month.
Arekapudi has three practical steps for kicking off a healthy parent-child relationship: establishing a judgment-free zone, being a supportive ally, and practicing belly breathing together.
“Whenever your child is upset, let them know they can talk to you and you won’t judge them,” said Arekapudi.
