Headwaters Music and Arts to hold open house

BEMIDJI — Headwaters Music and Arts will hold an open house from 7 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, at Headwaters, 519 Minnesota Ave. NW.

Community members are invited to enjoy cookies, hot cider and popcorn as they try out hands-on music and art activities and an “instrument petting zoo,” a release said.

Attendees can also meet music and art instructors, tour studios, learn about upcoming concerts, events and workshops, and register for music lessons, art clubs, youth and adult pottery and group music classes.

There are openings in fall programming for one-on-one instruction in piano, violin, viola, guitar, voice, flute, clarinet and most band instruments.
