
AUGUSTA, Kan. (KSNW) — A suspect is in custody following a car chase that injured an officer in Augusta.
According to Butler County dispatch, the chase started at 6:12 p.m. at 54 and Haverhill Road.
The chase ended at a liquor store on the corner of 7th Street and Walnut Street in Augusta.
The Butler County Sheriff’s Office was pursuing the vehicle when the Augusta Police Department assisted in the end.
Dispatch confirmed that an officer was minorly injured and another person was seriously injured.
The suspect is in custody.
