Memorial Day Car Show got rolling in Exeter


EXETER, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Classic cars, muscle cars, and sports cars were parked outside the American Grill in Exeter.

It was all for the eighth annual Memorial Day car show was held at the restaurant Monday afternoon.

Families and friends gathered to see the designs and the engines that were in the parking lot.

The event included photo booths, car experts, a DJ, raffles, and contests which included fan favorite cars. One person attending the event was excited to be there.

“I woke up 11:00 and my buddies were like, ‘there’s a big car show going on,’ So I’m like ‘Yo wait I got pop out,’ so the next thing I know I’m like, ‘I don’t have enough time to get a shower in or anything.’ I’m like, ‘I know it’s gonna rain today,’ so I’m running out to my car. I hop in driving down safely. I’m driving down get here, next to me now I’m on the news today. Today’s a good day,” said Exeter resident Trevor Radvanyi.

The money raised at the event benefits, local veterans.
