Range Sports will launch a golf division with the recent acquisition of Makers Sports Management, a golf representation and marketing agency operating out of Scottsdale, Arizona. Jeremy Moore, the founder and president of Makers, will serve as head of golf for Range Sports.
Makers’ client roster features 15 PGA Tour athletes including Joel Dahmen, Ryan Moore, Mark Hubbard, Aaron Baddeley and Harry Higgs in addition to the LPGA TOUR’s Sophia Popov. Dahmen recently appeared in the Netflix sports docudrama series “Full Swing,” which released in 2023.
The clients of Range Golf will benefit from player development, marketing and endorsements, as well as Range Studios’ content development in unscripted and scripted television and film projects. The unit will also be investing in golf IP, product and services in partnership with the company’s business development and analytics team.
Additionally, Range Golf will produce live events beginning with the debut of “Fan Controlled Golf,” featuring Joel Dahmen. In this live event, fans will be able to use interactive technology to vote in real time and decide the shots players will hit during matches.
Range Sports co-presidents Will Funk and Greg Luckman said, “We are thrilled to welcome Jeremy and the Makers team to Range Sports to lead our golf division. His reputation, skillset, and business acumen are truly best-in-class. He’s an outstanding champion for his golfer clients and a wildly successful golf industry entrepreneur.”
Moore also commented on the news: “I am excited to join the rapidly growing team at Range Sports. The wide-ranging resources across sports and entertainment marketing combined with Range’s in-house content studio and collaborative culture will be a game-changer for our clients.”
