SPARTANBURG, S.C. (WSPA) – Organizers said it’s the only five-day charity fashion show of its kind.
Director Jennifer Bartok said twice a year, furry fashionistas from across the country hit the runway for charity wearing fashions from around the world.
The show celebrates animal rescue which helps save animals’ lives and this year will benefit Yorkie 911, an all-volunteer rescue group that takes in all breeds of small dogs 35 lbs & under up and down the Eastern Seaboard.
Spartanburg Pet Fashion Week Presented by Hollywood Feed & PetRover kicks off three days of pet runway shows, a pet themed vendor village, an Oscars themed runway contest on Friday night & daily raffles featuring hundreds of prizes throughout the weekend.
Formerly called Paws in the City, this year there are new contests that ANYONE can participate in.
Friday night’s themed runway contest is The Oscars and the new rescue partner for this show is Yorkie911 Rescue | Welcome an all-breed rescue working up & down the East Coast.
Saturday and Sunday enjoy a fashion show and reception at noon and don’t forget to register your pup at celebritycatwalk.com.
