Ed Sheeran Hints at New Album Drop Date During Minneapolis Performance

On Friday, Ed Sheeran was in his element at a small show in Minneapolis as part of his The Mathematics Tour.

The singer of “Shape of You” wowed the crowd with songs from his latest album, “Subtract.” Some of the songs took people back to their best times, while others made them remember their saddest times.

The people who attended the private event said that Sheeran performed one of his best performances that night.

The singer started each song from Subtract with a sad prelude. This was because Sheeran had a hard year, with his wife getting cancer and his best friend dying.

At the end of the show, though, the Castle singer surprised fans by playing solo guitar and hitting high notes on three new songs from an upcoming record.

During his performance, he said that the songs would make a “good playlist for autumn,” which was a hint at when the album might come out.

During the August 6 show, the singer wore a shirt with what fans thought was a possible release date for a new record.

The shirt said “Autumn 9” on it, and fans thought that the “9” meant that it was the ninth month of the year, or September.

During a speech, he also said, “Autumn is coming, I will see you soon.”

Ed Sheeran’s opening acts in Minneapolis were his close friend Khalid and a British singer named Cat Burns.
