Millie Bobby Brown’s Selfie Reveals Her Authentic, Acne-Ridden Self

Millie Bobby Brown has been honest about her skin in front of her admirers, embracing her true self.

In two Instagram posts published on Monday, the 19-year-old Stranger Things actress admitted she was experiencing an acne outbreak.

In the first photo, which was a mirror selfie, the actress turned to one side and stared at the camera. On the next slide, Brown displayed a close-up of her makeup-free visage while pouting her lips.

She mentioned her skincare and cosmetics company in the post’s caption by writing, “@florencebymills send help!”

Brown has already exposed her natural complexion and spoken openly about “embracing the imperfections,” as she did in a March Instagram video. She previously disclosed to her followers her beauty regimen and her go-to Florence by Mills acne-clearing products.

In 2019, Brown revealed to People magazine that the brand was inspired by her grandmother Florence, who encouraged her to appreciate her natural beauty.

“My grandmother embraced her individuality a lot and she expressed herself. I definitely relate to that,” she said. “I’ve been told I’m like her in that respect, and I wanted that to represent my brand as well.”

Several of Brown’s Instagram followers commended her in the comments section of her Monday post for being honest about her acne.

“I adore how you flaunt your scars. Breakouts are normal and acceptable,” wrote one social media user. Another supporter added, “Thank you for normalizing breakouts.”
