Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor, turned 40 on Friday. To mark the occasion, he and his brother Liam went surfing in Bryon Bay to show off how fit they are.

Before going to the beach, the 33-year-old Marvel star laughed with his brother Liam and surfer friend Owen Wright. Owen gave the Aussie hero what looked like a copy of his autobiography to mark the event.

The boys then removed their clothes and put on their wetsuits to work out in the surf. Chris was tinkering with his surfboard in the parking lot. He had scruff on his face and a tan from being in the sun.

Chris and Liam Gallagher, who are both famous, went surfing with their friends to make the start of the star’s 40th year a special one.
