BROOKVILLE, Pa. — Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor is hiring a Registered Dietitian.

As a Registered Dietitian you will be responsible for coordinating all phases of nutrition care including nutrition assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling of hospitalized patients and long-term care facility and outpatients in a variety of settings. You will perform duties in support of and in compliance with performance improvement plans, The Joint Commission, and other licensing and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

• Four-year Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, Human Nutrition or a comparable major
• Successful completion of a coordinated program or dietetic internship of not less than 900 hours under the supervision of a registered dietitian
• Registered Dietitian (RD) by The Commission on Dietetic Registration (Candidates eligible for registration may be considered with the understanding that registration will be achieved within 60 days of hire)
• Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN) by the PA Board of Dietetics and Nutrition
