The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday released a “never-before-seen footage” from October 7 of Israeli soldiers firing at a car purportedly controlled by Hamas terrorists. As per the IDF, the soldiers killed the driver of the vehicle which then crashed into a post.
After the crash, a man carrying a weapon emerged from the backseat of the car and helped another man get out of the vehicle from the passenger’s seat. The two crawled away and soon afterwards two Israeli soldiers came to the site to inspect the vehicle.

According to the IDF, the soldiers killed the terrorists who tried to escape. However, it was not clear from the video whether the soldiers managed to kill the terrorists on camera.
The video also shows Israeli soldiers rescuing the residents of Kibbutz Be’eri, said the IDF.
Kibbutz Be’eri is located near the Gaza Strip and was one of the locations targeted by the Hamas terrorists when it launched a surprise attack on October 7. The small community has become a symbol of the horrors Israel suffered in the onslaught of that day.
A resident told AFP news agency that 108 of Beeri’s 1,100 residents died when Hamas launched its attack.
Around 1,400 people died in Israel in the Hamas attack, the deadliest in the country’s history, according to Israeli officials. Since then, Israel declared a “state of war” and imposed a siege on Gaza where 6,500 people have been killed in retaliatory strikes.
