Damian Lewis, who is well-known for his parts in popular TV shows like Band of Brothers and Homeland, is adding more dates to the tour of his debut album, Mission Creep, because people want to see him so much.
Damian Lewis and his newly formed band are going on their first tour together this fall.
Lewis’s first eight-show tour was so popular that he has decided to add more shows.
Because of this, he has added three more shows in Basingstoke, Eastleigh, and Milton Keynes for the month of November.
Lewis said, “I can’t wait to get out on the road with my band this autumn for our first UK tour. We’ve played London, we’ve played New York, but now we’re getting serious and bringing the music to the great towns and cities of Gateshead, Nottingham, Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, and many more.
And, am I allowed to say this, due to popular demand, we’ve just added three more dates at the start of November so, all of you in Basingstoke, Eastleigh, and Milton Keynes, get your glad rags on.”
Lewis’s first studio album came out in June. It’s been called a diverse collection of rootsy, rock, and jazz-influenced songs that show how much he loves music and how much he wants to express through it.
Damian Lewis’s first record has its roots after graduating high school, when he took his guitar and busked his way across continental Europe.
This early experience is thought to have left an indelible mark on the record, which came about when Lewis’s love for the guitar was rekindled during the lockdown.
