JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Fans will be rocking out during this concert.

Godsmack, with special guests Nothing More and Flat Black, will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial, 326 Napoleon St., downtown Johnstown.

“This is a great lineup that we’re really excited to add,” said Chad Mearns, marketing and box office manager at 1st Summit Arena. “They’re a band that has decades worth of quality music that they’ve put out for their fans. They’ve had success on radio with mainstream hits as well as deeper cuts off their albums that fans enjoy.”

Godsmack comprises Sully Erna on vocals and guitar; Tony Rombola on guitar; Robbie Merrill on bass; and Shannon Larkin on drums.

With more than 20 years of chart-topping success, the members of the Boston band have cemented themselves as 21st-century hard rock titans.

To date, they’ve accomplished 11 No. 1 singles at mainstream rock radio, including “Bulletproof,” “Unforgettable,” “When Legends Rise” and “Under Your Scars.”

Additionally, they’ve enjoyed 20 Top 10 hits as well as four Grammy nominations, and were named Billboard Music Award’s Rock Artist of the Year in 2001.

Selling over 20 million records worldwide, Godsmack has released eight studio albums, including “Godsmack” in 1998; “Awake” in 2000” “Faceless” in 2003; “IV” in 2006; “The Oracle” in 2010; “1000hp” in 2014; “When Legends Rise” in 2018 and “Lighting Up the Sky” in 2023. The powerful storytelling of “Lighting Up the Sky” covers boy-meets-girl, obstacles in relationships, the polarized political climate and the state of the world, betrayal, connection and rebounds.

Since its inception, Godsmack has toured with Ozzfest and with many other large tours and festivals, including supporting its albums with its own arena tours.

“Godsmack has fans of all ages, and there’s a lot of crossover appeal from previous rock shows we’ve had in the building and they’ll want to come back for this one,” Mearns said. “We’re looking at a type of music that we’ve seen success with recently and we know there’s a substantial fanbase in this area who loves coming to shows like this one.”

He said interest in the concert has been high since it was announced.

“We’re looking at the Johnstown/Altoona market accounting for half of the sales, but we have a lot of sales coming from the Pittsburgh market, from the Harrisburg area and a high number from the Washington, D.C., market,” Mearns said. “Conservatively, we’ll see 700 to 800 people coming into the Johnstown area from the outside on a Tuesday night, and that’s a nice number.”

Tickets are $66.50 and $76.50, plus fees.

“It’s attracting a lot of attention, and we’re expecting that it’ll be at the sellout level because we’re knocking on the door of that right now,” Mearns said. “There are some tickets remaining, so for those interested in coming we recommend getting tickets early.”

Tickets are available at www.ticketmaster.com or at the 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial box office.
