This June, the Indiana Convention Center hosted the annual Top Tech competition, featuring technicians from Cox Automotive. Technicians from across the U.S. from Fleet Services and Manheim businesses faced written and practical exams designed to test their technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
The 45 finalists represented the top 1% of Cox Automotive’s technicians, competing in Light/Medium Duty, Heavy-Duty, and Trailer categories. This is the second year that Manheim competed against Fleet Service technicians in Top Tech. The winners will compete against other industry competitors at TMCSuperTech in September.
The 2024 Top Tech Winners are:
Heavy-Duty Category:
- 1st Place: Michael Kerfoot (Fleet Services)
- 2nd Place: Jose Feliciano (Fleet Services)
Trailer Category:
- 1st Place: Dillon Grimes (Fleet Services)
- 2nd Place: Bud Haney (Fleet Services)
Light-/Medium-Duty Category:
- 1st Place: Zach Nikorak (Fleet Services)
- 2nd Place: Darin Branton (Manheim)
This year’s competition also saw its first female competitor, Kendall Bryant, who won one of the Safety & Environmental stations in the Trailer category.
