Ashley for the Arts celebrates 15th anniversary with Journey as headliner


 

ARCADIA, Wis. (WKBT) — The iconic Ashley for the Arts music festival starts in Arcadia August 8. This will be the 15th anniversary of the event. 

Ashley for the Arts is a non-profit music and arts festival. 70 non-profit organizations and school districts help contribute to the festival and the proceeds go back to them. 

This week, News 8 Now This Morning‘s Alexandra Carter spoke with Cole Bawek, the event director for the Ashley of the Arts festival. He broke down the music headliners and family-friendly activities and events guests should expect to see. 

Friday’s lineup includes Neal McCoy, Vertical Horizon, The Script, and Journey. (Yes, that Journey!)

Saturday’s lineup includes Tigirlily Gold, Locash, Bret Michaels, and Old Dominion.

Some of the other activities at the festival include arts and craft fairs, circus entertainment, a hot air balloon, and other family-friendly activities. Food and drink will also be available. 

Bawek emphasizes that there are activities that will keep all age groups and families busy.

Parking is free and free bus shuttles are available. 

Tickets are available both online and at the gate, but tickets ordered online in advance are offered at a discounted rate.
