Beyonce Defends Lizzo in Former Employee Sexual Harassment Complaint

Beyoncé recently stood up for Lizzo after three of her former backup dancers accused her of sexual harassment earlier this month.

On Monday, Beyoncé was seen giving a concert in Atlanta, Georgia, where she finally stated that she won’t leave her friend’s side after her lawsuit and accusations.

In her Break My Soul remix, the artist named the About Damn Time singer as one of the women who inspired her. This clip went viral on social media.

Beyoncé took Lizzo’s name off the list before, and her mother, Tina Knowles, said it wasn’t because of the harassment case.

During the show, the 41-year-old singer was seen going through her list of inspiring Black women. When Lizzo’s name came up, she said it out loud.

The crowd was shocked when Beyoncé said, “I love you, Lizzo!” There were scattered applauses from the crowd.

Beyoncé, on the other hand, forgot to say Lizzo’s name and said “Erykah Badu’s name multiple times” during the Boston show.

After the claims, stars like Selma Blair, Jameela Jamill, Jennifer Garner, Andy Cohen, Chelsea Handler, and many more came out to support Lizzo. Beyoncé was also there for her.
