Even though he and his wife Jennifer Lopez are having trouble, Ben Affleck is happy with his life.

People Magazine quotes a source who says that the director of Air is “happy and thriving” as of Tuesday, August 15.

“He’s definitely staying healthy,” the person said. “When everything is going well in his life, he’s quiet and content. No drama.”

In 2022, after both of them got out of their long-term marriages, Affleck and Lopez got back together. They got engaged again, and in July of the same year, they tied the knot in Las Vegas.

The first time they were linked was in 2002, when they started dating and even got engaged. Two years after that, though, they broke up.

Affleck and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner have three children: Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. Max and Emme, twins who are 15 years old, are Lopez’s children with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

There were rumors that Affleck and Lopez were having problems in their marriage when, in May, a source told Heat Magazine that the Gone Girl star is “burned out” and just needs his own space because it’s hard for him to handle their blended family and work.

“Ben’s been a real trooper in taking J.Lo’s orders for so long, but there was always going to be a point where he’d snap and insist on having his own space,” said an insider.

Reports also said that the actress from “The Shotgun Wedding” is “still giving this marriage everything she’s got,” but that she made the actor from “Batman” sign a prenup so they wouldn’t fight anymore.
