On Monday, Mindy Kaling wore an off-white Jonathan Simkhai dress to the Met Gala 2023. She looked beautiful and slim in it.

She also walked the red carpet with Simkhai.

The slimmed-down celebrity has been a Met Gala regular since 2013 but has previously admitted that the star-studded event worries her.

The “Wrinkle in Time” star told Glamour in 2019: “Going to parties where I don’t know most of the people is stressful to me.” She is said to have lost more than 40 pounds since having her second child in 2020.

Kaling said then, “I’ve always felt, not exactly a loner, but for example, I love the Met Gala, but the no-plus-one thing has always been a real stressor for me.”

Last year, Kaling, who is 43, looked beautiful in a purple Prabal Gurung gown with a thigh-high slit and flower details. In 2021, she wore a standard Tory Burch dress in navy blue with a wide black belt to cinch it in.

In 2019, the star went with the camp theme of the night by changing into a blond beauty and wearing a glamorous gold Moschino gown.

In 2018, Kaling sat next to Chadwick Boseman in the museum while wearing a white Vassilis Zoulias dress, gloves, and a crown. She also claimed to be dating the “Black Panther” actor.
