The presentation will promote nutrition for teens as well as:
• Benefits of a healthy eating pattern
• How to prepare balanced meals to properly fuel in order to feel good and energized
• Types of hunger we experience
• How to listen more to our bodies and honor hunger and fullness cues
• Healthy snacking
• Evaluating diet plans and trendy ways of eating
• How to limit added sugar
• Emotional well-being and body image.
Walker works individually with patients at University Hospitals’ TriPoint Medical Center and people in the community to help them achieve specific health goals, according to a news release.
“I enjoy using my passion for healthy eating to help others create positive eating habits,” she stated in the release. “I love teaching people how a healthy lifestyle does not have to be complicated and how it can fit into any routine.”
