How to Watch ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ at Home

Break out your best black and white stripes and get ready for a seance, because Beetlejuice is back. The infamous poltergeist, who was first unleashed upon the world 36 years ago in Tim Burton’s 1988 film of the same name, is in theaters once again for the long-awaited sequel to the cult classic.

Reprising his role from the first film, Michael Keaton stars as the eponymous apparition, alongside returning characters Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) and her mother Delia Deetz (Catherine O’Hara). Joining the cast is Wednesday star Jenna Ortega, aptly playing Astrid, Lydia’s daughter Astrid, who returns to the formerly haunted Deetz family home to clear things out after the death of Lydia’s father.

Of course, things couldn’t possibly be that simple, so it’s only a matter of time before the Deetz women find themselves wrapped up once again in Beetlejuice’s supernatural hijinks.

When will Beetlejuice Beetlejuice be streaming?

In Burton’s world, conjuring Beetlejuice into your home is as dangerously simple as repeating his name three times, but if you’re looking to have “the ghost with the most” haunt your space, you’ll have to wait a while.

No official dates have been shared as to when the sequel will be released on streaming, though historically Warner Bros., the studio behind Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, often releases new movies to stream on Max within two to three months of their theatrical debut. It’s also possible that the film will hit PVOD rent-or-buy services before heading to streaming, but as yet, that’s only speculation.

We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
