PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Thursday to commemorate the grand opening of Wild and Wonderful Nutrition, one of the newest local businesses to make its way to the Princeton area.

Friends, family, and community members were joined on Thursday by members of the Princeton Economic Development Authority, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias to celebrate the establishment’s arrival to Mercer County.

Owner Taylor Hazelwood addressed those in attendance for the grand opening event. Donning a “Healthy Bartender” shirt, Hazelwood spoke of the establishment’s mission of encouraging positive lifestyle choices.

“Here at Wild and Wonderful Nutrition, we want to promote a healthy, active lifestyle,” Hazelwood said. “We have protein shakes, protein iced coffees, [and] energizing teas with less than 1 gram of sugar.”

Each specialty drink offered at Wild and Wonderful Nutrition features a personal touch, as each drink comes with a handwritten quote of encouragement to provide patrons with a “ray of sunshine” when they stop by.

A native of Monroe County, Hazelwood expressed enthusiasm at the prospect of bringing her business to the historic Princeton district in Mercer County.

Wild and Wonderful Nutrition is open Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, and on Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm.  The establishment can be found at 349 Mercer Street in Princeton.
