From futuristic chrome accents to high fashion makeup, this fashion month Spring/Summer 2025 beauty landscape redefined self-expression. Our favorite beauty moments this fashion week have shone a bright light on the creativity and artistry that define the intersection how clothing and beauty link up. Designers and makeup artists have pushed boundaries, presenting looks that are as dynamic as its global destinations themselves.
Below, we celebrate the most unforgettable statements from the runway, highlighting the beauty trends that are sure to influence and inspire throughout the upcoming season.
Luar’s fashion and beauty moments were inspired by the Dominican phrase “En Boca Quedó,”meaning “I stay in the mouth.” We’ll forever remember the brand’s sky high, gel hair and over-the-top, exquisite beauty this season.
A throwback to the mod era, Christian Cowan’s bobs and bits remind us that we can (and should) take our makeup to the next level whenever possible. We can envision colorful eyeshadow making a serious comeback this season.
Another top moment from Luar — Naomi Yasuda went to the brand’s showroom to grab inspiration and left with pieces from the collection itself to glue onto nails for the Rockefeller Center presentation.
The bigger the hair, the better. For LaQuan Smith, glamour and sensuality reign supreme. The fashion brand partnered with Camille Rose to amplify models’ natural texture and give them va-va-voom with speciality wigs.
From what we’ve seen this fashion week, it appears that grunge is back. At Area, Mac Cosmetics gave models vampy eyes and berry lips.
At Collina Strada, long wigs specially made for models to wander along a grassy cemetery. We are noticing that not wearing makeup and showcasing real skin is becoming quite the trend on the runway.
The future is here and we’re ready for it — Mowalola‘s beauty was a feast for the eyes, with makeup moments like red brows, feathery false eyelashes, spooku contact lenses and bejeweled faces.
In case you missed it, anime has taken to the mainstream and straight to the runway. At Mains London, Bobbi Brown curated makeup that was comprised of spiky lashes, gradient glossy lips and super glowing skin.
Sinead Gorey took us back to a time we’ll never forget, whether we had a good time or a bad one. “Anti-prom heroine” was the theme of this ss25 show and the models definitely looked the part. Frosty lips, blue eyeliner and a new take on that up-do you got at your neighborhood mall were all full display for all to see.
No makeup is the new makeup, according to Johanna Parv. With Facegym at the ready, models were taken through a facial workout — lifting, sculpting and hydating the skin so there was no need for anything else.
Blonde is back and better than ever, baby. At Ashley Williams’ SS25 show (and at Mowalola’s), we noticed that more than one models had donned platinum-colored hairpieces.
We’re absolutely obsessed with the beauty at Chopova Lowena, including this bedazzled eye moment. Makeup has always blended with art in some shape or form, but at London Fashion Week, this proved to be the case.
