Makeup artist and influencer Danielle Marcan describes it as ‘the grunge sister of the latte makeup’, sharing a tutorial for how to perfect a blend of smokey eyes and deep nudes for a beauty look that marks a shift to more intense trends (Halloween beauty looks, we’re ready for you).
In Danielle’s tutorial, the TikTok-famous makeup artist starts with a fresh, clean base and focuses on creating a dramatic eye with various shades of brown.
The influencer then sweeps a dark liner across the lid and along the waterline for dramatic eyes before finishing with a heavy-duty mascara.
Lips are lined and deep nude for a ‘90s grunge feel, and brows are filled in and fluffed up. Fans quickly commented on the look, with one writing, ‘It looks like Lily rose Depp makeup,’ while another said, ‘It’s smokey and beautiful I need to try.’ And a third wrote, ‘Why [do] these vids make me crave coffee everytime?’
