The 24th Annual Fall Harvest Car Show took place this past weekend, beginning Friday evening through Sunday morning. The event concluded with an awards program on Sunday morning, with Dan Tacker serving as the Master of Ceremonies. Over the three days, the show reported an impressive display of 280 registered cars, motorcycles, and tractors.
The City of Fort Morgan was recognized for making the event possible with support from the parks, street, electric, and police departments. Special thanks were extended to Fort Morgan Mayor Dr. Kevin Lindell, the Fort Morgan City Council, the Morgan County Commissioners, and over 60 generous sponsors. Numerous local businesses also contributed by donating goody bag and door prize items.

The event was led by Co-Presidents Dave Cornwell and Brad Parker, Vice-President Melvin Kallsen, Secretary Kelsi Hall, and Treasurer Betty McKie. Committee members Doug Bolen, Bob Bragg, Scott Hicks, Tim Grauberger, Tony Grosso, Brian McCracken, Laura McCracken, Jim McKie, Tim Wunsch, and Don Brainard all worked tirelessly to organize the event.
Special thanks were given to the many volunteers, including MCC Collision Repair and Auto Technology students, I-Connect High School students, and individuals Shaleena McKie, Judy Grauberger, and Troy McKie, who handled registration.
Scholarships
A highlight of the morning was the awarding of scholarships to Morgan Community College Collision Repair and Auto Technology students. Funded through registration fees, these scholarships have been a long-time tradition at the car show. Instructors Brad Parker and Tim Grauberger presented the scholarships, totaling $2000, to the following students:
Collision Repair Students: Jazmin Talamantes, Enrique Ordaz, Joel Salazar and David Carrillo.
Auto Technology Students: Etienne Le Blanc, Edgar Arroyo, Blake Covelli and Bryan Jimenez.
