(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Bluegrass Battle Hunger, a free event supporting Second Harvest Community Food Bank is returning to Downtown St. Joseph this Friday, September 27th and Saturday, September 28, 2024.
Bluegrass Battles Hunger 2024 is a two day event with live Bluegrass music, dancing, and food vendors that takes place at Coleman Hawkins Park located in Downtown St. Joseph, Missouri.
Attendees are encouraged to bring food or cash donations to the event on Friday and Saturday in lieu of an Admission fee.
The event begins at 6 p.m. on Friday, September 27th with a performance from Beth and Brandon, followed by Dewpew and Morris at 7 p.m. and the final performance begins at 8 p.m. with Boxcar Brethren.
Festivities resume at 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 28th with the St. Joseph Arts Academy Showcase, followed by a 5 p.m. performance from Natalie Prausser, a 6 p.m. performance from Rural Grit Allstars, at 7 p.m. Cameron Keeling and the Runaway Train take the stage and the final performance begins at 8 p.m. with True North closing down the event.
Food vendors will be on site throughout the event to provide tasty snacks to attendees.
