San Francisco Fashion Week starts next week, October 16 through 20, with the chance to see some amazing things go stomping down the runway. Along with several runway shows, there are networking opportunities, a fashion-meets-technology conference and a fashion awards show. Best part? Even though you might not be on the runway, you’re encouraged to dress to the nines too. Here are the four components of the week:
Fashion Tech conference
October 16 at 6pm, location TBD
This conference “brings together the brightest minds at the intersection of fashion and technology, creating a platform where innovation meets style.” You’ll explore fashion technology—everything from A.I.-driven design to sustainable practices—share ideas and connect with industry leaders. Expect keynote speakers, panel discussions, startup showcases, workshops and networking. This event is currently sold out.
Opening reception and Vanguard Fashion Awards
October 17 at 5pm, Jay Hotel
In partnership with the Jay Hotel, this event includes an opening reception and networking time, then an influencers runway segment, a presentation by Miss Asian Global, a fashion awards ceremony and more networking and an after-party. The dress code is Hollywood glamour. Tickets start at $12 here.
Emerging Designers Fashion Showcase
October 19 at 6pm, James Bong Building
At “Fashion For The People,” celebrate emerging designers from San Francisco, Silicon Valley, the Bay Area and beyond, in partnership with the CREATR Lab. The participating designers are Cierra Palmeri, Innayat’s Label, RAWD Art and the Ninth Fashion. Expect special guest appearances, too. Tickets start at $12 here.

This runway show features designers DervishX, Jangle Apparel, NYNA, Padma Shakti Creations, Miss Asian Global X Adriano’s, OUTLAW and Shiva Soltani.
