MANSFIELD — The Mansfield Arts and Culture Sector of the Richland Community Development Group would like to announce an upcoming fundraising event to be held at Hudson and Essex on Nov. 12.
Cocktails will be at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 to benefit The Arts and Culture Sector.
This unique event pairs six historical paintings, each with a food course prepared by Hudson and Essex own Chef Sierra along with a specially selected wine.
Mark Sebastian Jordan a local author, playwright, historian and music critic will present a conversation about the artist and the history of each painting selected.
Local artist Robin Shoup-Wilson will have her artwork displayed for viewing and purchase. Shoup-Wilson has custom-painted a special work of art available at silent auction.
This very unique and special event will assist the art sector in developing a micro grant program designed to promote and economically grow our local art community specifically independent artists.
These micro grants would be used to assist artists in developing skills, art education, materials, events, art installations and projects.
Eat Your Art Out will become an annual fundraising event for the arts sector.
