The annual ARTS celebration will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 19 around the courthouse and over 50 vendors will be on hand, along with musicians taking the stage. The event was posponed from September.

The event runs from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with free admission.

This year’s festival will feature over exhibitors showcasing incredible local artistry. Attendees can expect hours of live music, hands-on crafts for kids, and a diverse selection of food trucks.

For the first time, the Paris Henry County Arts Council will feature an impressive lineup of talented songwriters, celebrating the beauty of original music and storytelling through song. With acoustic sets from local songwriters throughout the day, this year’s event highlights the creativity and heart that goes into crafting lyrics and melodies.

The musical schedule is: 9 a.m., Mark Johnson; 10 to 12 p.m. Stringed Beats; 12-1 p.m. Lindsey Russell; 1-3 p.m. Mike Mitchell; and 3-4 p.m. Shannon Davis.

In addition to our roster of songwriters, we’re proud to welcome the Stringed Beats, the only band this year, who will fill the air with their Irish, folk, and old-time music influences. This unique combination of acoustic performances and live band music is sure to make this year’s event truly memorable. Descriptions of each of the musical artists can be found on the Paris-Henry County Arts Council website.

The stage will be set up at the Washington St./North Poplar St. intersection.
