Monday, Oct. 21

Clay Night | BellyFire Studios

This class includes the chance to experience techniques used in professional clay making including wheel throwing, sculpture and hand building. The studio offers this lesson weekly on Mondays at BellyFire Studios 257 Lee Dr, Suite P.

The fee is $50 with an option of an additional $5 to include glazing and firing your clay creation.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

Farmers Market | Main Library at Goodwood

Red Stick is hosting its local farmers market Tuesday evening from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fall and winter seasonal products will be sold by local farmers, businesses and other fellow local members of the Baton Rouge community.

The Red Stick Farmers market will be located at the Main Library at 7711 Goodwood Blvd.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

Open Mic Comedy Night |The Station Sports Bar and Grill

The Station is hosting its weekly Wednesday Delete Comedy show. This free show is Baton Rouge’s longest running comedy show that welcomes any and all comedians on stage.

The Open Mic show is located at the Station Sports Bar and Grill at 4608 Bennington Ave. starting at 8:00 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 24

CJ Solar | Manship Theatre

CJ Solar, an accredited country artist, is playing live starting at 7:30 p.m.

Wear your best 70’s attire and enjoy CJ’s tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd for this limited time show performed for the first time at the Manship Theatre Shaw Center For The Arts on 100 Lafayette St.

Friday, Oct. 25

The Rocky Horror Picture Show | Manship Theatre

The Manship Theatre is showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a classic for Halloween. Audiences are encouraged to participate bringing any of the few items below to enhance the show’s experience: flashlights, rubber bands, noisemakers, toilet paper, toast, party hats, bells, cards and rice.

The show starts at 10:30pm and ends at midnight. Tickets are $11 and are needed for all audience members in order to enjoy the show. This show can be found at the Manship Theatre Shaw Center For The Arts on 100 Lafayette Street.

Saturday, Oct. 26

Party in Pink | Esporta Fitness

The annual Baton Rouge Pink Party, hosted by Esporta Fitness, aims to have people of all ages attend its dance fitness event, in efforts to raise awareness for breast cancer.

The Pinky Party dance fitness charity event is an annual event that will take place on October 26th at 6474 Siegen Lane from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Halloween Bar Crawl | George’s Place

This Saturday is the ultimate Halloween bar crawl experience with George’s Place. Tickets can be purchased beforehand and at least two drinks are guaranteed with your ticket. The crawl will last from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Don’t forget to show up in your most creative costumes.

Haints, Haunts and Halloween | LSU Rural Life Museum

An old fashioned Halloween country fair is just down the street from LSU. The LSU Rural Life Museum is hosting a safe and fun Halloween event designed for families, where they can play games, trick or treat and much more.
