Cape Cod Potters Will Hold Seconds Sale

The public is invited to attend the Cape Cod Potters Pottery Seconds Sale on Saturday, November 2, at the Cultural Center of Cape Cod. The sale offers a chance to purchase slightly imperfect works that have been donated by ceramic artists Capewide.

Proceeds from the sale will be divided two ways, with 50 percent going toward helping fund the Cape Cod Potters educational outreach efforts such as workshops, artist talks and other educational programs for the broader Cape Cod clay and arts community, as well as supporting members working through health or other crises, which is what this sale typically funds. This year the other 50 percent of funds raised will be donated to CERF+ (Craft Emergency Relief Fund) to aid Hurricane Helene relief. Many in the Cape Cod Potters membership have personal connections with the clay and craft community of North Carolina, which was devastated by Helene.
