Olivia Culpo’s Sisters Reveal How Her Lifestyle Is Already Changing to Prepare for Motherhood (Exclusive)

Olivia Culpo’s sisters are enjoying her every step towards starting a family.

Several months before her viral wedding to Christian McCaffrey, the Miss Universe winner, 32, shared her desire to “start trying immediately” for children as soon as she married the NFL star.

With the June wedding behind them, Olivia’s little sister Sophia, 27, and older sister Aurora, 35 — who has two kids of her own — tell PEOPLE how they are already witnessing the newlywed adjust her life in anticipation of parenthood.

While discussing her and Sophia’s partnership with wellness brand Thorne in September, Aurora notes as Olivia moves homes, she’s decorating with a bit more regard for the unpredictable.

“Already, I can see that her house is no longer all white and beige,” the eldest Culpo sister quips. “I’m like, ‘You’re realizing this might not work for your future.’”

Sophia agrees, describing her sister as a “through and through perfectionist,” something “you can’t be with kids.”

“I know she’s going to be a really loving mother. I know that she’s going to be very prepared. I think she’s going to have everything in place,” Aurora says, joking, “Probably already picking out her children’s preschool. At the moment she’s probably already on the waitlist.”

Still, the Barely Filtered podcast host is cheekily looking forward to telling Olivia “I told you so” about a few parts of parenting. “She was the sister who was always giving her two cents,” explains Aurora.

In true sisterly form, both Sophia and Aurora supported Olivia on her Rhode Island wedding day and in the aftermath, when she received some unexpected fashion criticism about her dress. The middle sister wore a conservative, long-sleeve Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress, because as she told Vogue ahead of their wedding, she “didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape or form.”

Social media users were quick to tear the look apart and voice their harsh opinions and judgments, eventually prompting the bride and groom to personally respond. In their recent chat with PEOPLE, Olivia’s siblings said they shared her outrage, though they’re all too aware of the hurtful words some people freely sling at public figures online.

“Social media can be so toxic, and I do think people will say anything for views. They’ll use any language to start a controversy just for their own personal gain,” Sophia said. “To do it on someone’s wedding day, I think that’s really tasteless.”

Aurora added, “I think for anybody to comment on anybody’s personal choice in a wedding dress is just pretty absurd.”
