ATTI opens The Future of Automotive Testing Conference
The Future of Automotive Testing Conference launched this morning, with a variety of presentations covering the latest advances, emerging trends and future challenges shaping the automotive testing landscape. The two-day conference boasts speakers from General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Stellantis, ZF, 5GAA, SAE International, Maruti Suzuki India and more. Ford speaks about testing high-voltage system in the lab without physical batteries
Vincent Sabatini, a high-voltage systems test engineer at Ford Motor Company, gave a very interesting presentation at The Future of Automotive Testing Conference this afternoon. Method for validating electric vehicles using high-voltage battery simulation, offered a detailed look into innovative testing approaches that are environmentally sustainable and flexible for continued electric vehicle development. ATTI hosting an interview on EV powertrain testing
As the official publication of Automotive Testing Expo, Automotive Testing Technology International, will host an onstage interview tomorrow (Thursday, October 24) at 11:20am. Rachel Evans, editor of ATTI, will speak with Kevin Jones, lab manager at Southwest Research Institute, to address common misconceptions around electric vehicle (EV) powertrain testing – especially battery testing. Jones has extensive experience in the field. “Kevin and I will cover a range of critical topics, from the most common misconceptions about battery testing to how cell form factor variations impact test methodology and the push for standardization,” Evans shared. “I expect it to lead to some insightful discussions.” Be sure to visit the ATTI team at Booth 9026.
