ROCK SPRINGS — A new exhibit titled “In My Element” by local artist David von Metz is on display at the Community Fine Arts Center November 2 through December 28. The public is invited to a reception for the artist on Saturday, November 2nd from 2 to 4 p.m.

This exhibit is divided into two sections since Metz has been exploring two diverse areas in his work. On the right side as you enter the gallery are multi-media pieces, employing some combination of inkjet prints, acrylic paint, hammered-in nails or glued-on wood shapes. On the left side of the gallery is a collection of artworks Metz has created using Midjourney, an AI image generation tool.
