ELKHART, Ind. (WSBT) — There’s a new program in Elkhart to help seniors get nutritious meals.

The Tolson Center for Community Excellence has just opened a new REAL Services Senior Nutrition Site.

This is for people who are 60 years of age or older.

There’s no income requirement and it’s not need based.

“Yeah, we’re really excited to be here. It is a nutrition congregate meal site, so we invite seniors 60 years and older to come join us Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. and all we need is a simple entry form,” saidJarena Baker, Tolson Center Nutrition Manager.

If you’re interested, you’re asked to sign up on site at Tolson.

The meals are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
