CONCORD, NH — Senate Majority Leader Sharon Carson (R-Londonderry) and Senator Denise Ricciardi (R-Bedford) issued the following joint statement Monday after being recognized for their commitment to child nutrition at the New Hampshire Nutrition and Equity Summit:
“This year, we’ve worked together to give students better access to nutritious, sustainable food from New Hampshire farms. I want to thank the New Hampshire Food Access Coalition for this recognition of our hard work, and for their continued commitment to better child nutrition,” said Senate Majority Leader Sharon Carson.
“I have prioritized ensuring young mothers and children have the support they need. I am proud to be one of the senators who worked in a bipartisan manner to ensure passage of the Momnibus legislation. But my most important job is being a mother myself, which is why I look forward to continuing to support young mothers and children,” added Senator Denise Ricciardi.
