Asian arts, American and Afro-Caribbean literature, arts from the Middle East and North Africa, a festival of Indian culture… In Paris, there are fairs and events that celebrate cultures from all over the world. The festival Un week-end à l’Est, for its part, highlights Eastern European cultures.
This artistic event returns to Paris, from November 20 to 30, 2024, in 25 different venues. Museums, art galleries, churches, schools, bookshops, theaters and cinemas open their doors to the public for this unique festival. For its 8th edition, Un week-end à l’Est will focus onArmenia and its capital, Yerevan. The festival’s patrons, André Manoukian and Rima Pipoyan, pay tribute to the great artists and culture of Armenia.
Through exhibitions, concerts, film and documentary screenings, meetings, performances and debates, the festival invites us to discover the richness and diversity of an Eastern European country, far from clichés.
