The Zionsville Cultural District recently announced that a colorful new mural entitled Greetings from Zionsville will be painted at 295 S. Main St.

The Main Street building owned by Scott Barnes and family is across the street from The Friendly Tavern. The mural design, selected through a competitive process, will be the work of Indianapolis artist Linette Pedigo. To see examples of her work, visit the website at https://paintingsbylinette.com/.

In addition to the donation of space for this new public art project, the ZCD received grant support from MIBOR’S Economic and Community Development Council through its Community Impact Initiative.

Pedigo began painting the mural on in mid-October and expects it to be completed in mid-November.
