Greencare Clinics has engaged a group of lifestyle experts, including former Olympian and mindset coach Michael Klim, as it seeks to provide an integrative approach to wellness alongside its medicinal cannabis telehealth offering.
As well as Klim, Greencare’s experts include stress management coach Dean Gladstone, meditation and mindfulness expert Soelae Riley, yoga facilitator Kate Kendall, nutritionist Zoe Bingley-Pullin, yoga and movement teacher Charlotte Dodson and health and wellness coach Tory Trewhitt.
CEO George Moskos said the aim is to provide people with the right knowledge, strategies and tools to achieve wellness amid rising health issues relating to stress, anxiety and burnout.
“Prevention is better than the cure,” he said. “We have curated this team of experts to ensure an integrative health approach across the clinic… that extends beyond clinical care.
“We want to help people better understand the benefits of incorporating health and wellness measures into their daily routine to reduce the symptoms of stress, burnout and anxiety which are so prevalent in our society.”
A recent study by the Australian Bureau of Statistics found almost 43% of people aged 16 to 85 had experienced a mental disorder at some time in their life, with anxiety reported as the most common.
The new arm of the Greencare business will focus on empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health and wellness routines and implement a positive mindset.
Klim said: “I’m passionate about helping people with goal setting, how to look after their body and just how important that is, and how to reach the elite mindset in everyday life.
“I’ve joined the Greencare Clinics Lifestyle Experts to help arm people with the valuable tools to lead a more balanced lifestyle, increase motivation and help them tackle the next challenge,” he added.
Each expert will tailor programs to individuals based on their health goals and lifestyle.
