Gillian Welch and David Rawlings are hitting the road in 2025 in support of their latest album, “Woodland.” The duo’s North American tour kicks off on February 28 in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and includes a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City on May 7.
Other stops include cities like Richmond, Boston and New London before wrapping up on May 22 in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Ryman Auditorium.
In addition to their May 7 show at Carnegie Hall, Welch and Rawlings will perform at the following New York venues in 2024:

Various presales begin Tuesday, November 12 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by the general ticket sale on Friday, November 15 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Fans can use the code “WOODLAND” for early access.

Welch and Rawlings have been musical partners for more than 20 years, known for their signature mix of Appalachian, bluegrass and country music, with albums including “Revival” (1996) and “Time (The Revelator)” (2001).
They won a Grammy Award for Best Folk Album in 2021 for “All the Good Times (Are Past & Gone)” and are nominated once again in 2025 for “Woodland.”
“Woodland,” released August 23, 2024, is their first album of original material in more than a decade and was inspired by the destruction of their Woodland Sound Studios in Nashville by a tornado in 2020.
The lead single, “Empty Trainload of Sky,” is also nominated for a 2025 Grammy Award for Best Americana Performance. Listen to it below:
