ABILENE, Texas — Abilene High School principal, Emme Siburt, is the Texas Art Education Association’s 2024 School Principal of the Year.

The TEAE celebrates outstanding art educators and contributors to art education in Texas each year at their statewide conference.

The award recognizes principals that demonstrate extra support for visual arts education.

The AISD executive director of fine arts says that Siburt’s support of fine arts has been unwavering, creating a supportive campus community.
