Jake Shimabukuro in Olympia 

Musician Jake Shimabukuro, known for his work with the ukulele, is stopping by the Washington Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 15 for his Holidays in Hawai’i show. Seattle Turkish Film Festival 

The Turkish American Cultural Association of Washington is hosting from Nov. 15-17 the 12th iteration of the Turkish Film Festival. Hosted at the SIFF Cinema Uptown, the weekend event will screen a host of Turkish screen gems, including a hush-hush movie said to be a masterpiece that’s part of Martin Scorsese’s World Cinema Project.
