Travis Barker has refuted claims that his past crush on Kim Kardashian was a factor in her feud with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian.
Recent speculation arose when excerpts from Barker‘s 2016 memoir, “Can I Say,” were revisited, in which he described Kim as “f**king hot” and confessed to discreetly admiring her during his brief 2006 romance with Paris Hilton.
Barker, who married Kourtney last year, dismissed the notion of any family discord within the Kardashian family over his earlier crush on Kim.
“You give people a little information and they think they’ve solved the mystery of ‘this is why they’re fighting.’ It’s just so ridiculous,” Barker told the Los Angeles Times.
“It’s like, ‘Kourtney‘s fans are worried about Travis. He’s a womanizer.’ Stop it.
“I obviously shared all that stuff because I wanted to move past it. It was therapeutic for me.
“That’s her sister. She knows we used to talk. Nothing bad was going on.”
Feud over a show
Kim Kardashian‘s conflict with Kourtney, however, originated from a disagreement over a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show depicted on Hulu’s “The Kardashians.”
The two engaged in a public feud, with Kourtney labeling Kim an “egotistical … narcissist” and a “witch.” Eventually, the sisters resolved their differences, with Kourtney acknowledging that they had both made hasty statements.
