Musical Acts Invited to Apply for 2025 Outdoor Concert Series
Bloomington, Ind. – Bloomington Parks and Recreation is inviting musicians and bands to apply for the 2025 Performing Arts Series, featuring live concerts at various city parks.
📅 Application Deadline: January 10, 2025, at 5 p.m.
A jury of local arts community members will evaluate applications based on:
- Type and quality of performance
- Availability
- Past performance history
- Cost
Performance venues include:
- Switchyard Park: 1601 S. Rogers St.
- Waldron, Hill and Buskirk Park: 331 S. Washington St.
- Peoples Park: 501 E. Kirkwood Ave.
- Bryan Park: 1001 S. Henderson St.
- Hopewell Commons: Located near the new Madison and West University Streets intersection.
Applications will also be used to select performers for special events, such as the annual Holiday Market held the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
While the priority deadline is January 10, applications will be accepted until all dates are filled. Booking will occur in late January through February.
