APPLETON — Fans of the iconic rock band Queen can experience the group’s music live when an acclaimed Queen-focused tribute band performs in Appleton next spring.
The “One Night of Queen” show is coming to The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, 400 W. College Ave., in downtown Appleton. The show, which is presented by NiteLite, pays tribute to the legendary group. While the performance is still months away, tickets go on sale Friday.
One Night of Queen is a touring stage show fronted by Freddie Mercury imitator Gary Mullen and his band, Gary Mullen & The Works. The group has performed “One Night of Queen” for more than 20 years, playing more than 2,500 live shows to audiences in over 20 countries, according to The Fox Cities PAC.
Joining Mullen are David Brockett on guitar, Malcolm Gentles on keyboards, Jon Halliwell on drums and Alan McGeoch on bass guitar.
The concert is scheduled for March 26. Tickets start at $36.15 and will be available on foxcitiespac.com, Ticketmaster.com, and through the PAC ticket office, by calling 920-730-3760.
